AL-SHABAB Groups

This is a new category launched in 2025 to spotlight individuals and projects that are ethically impactful and positively influence society. It targets youth aged between 18 and 25 years. Through this category, we aim to encourage young individuals and groups to participate by presenting initiatives that have a clear ethical impact.
Objectives of the Category
- To promote ethical awareness through the contributions of young pioneers.
- To encourage youth to present initiatives and projects with a positive ethical nature.
- To highlight the most important youth-led projects that have ethical value and a positive impact.
- To emphasize the role of youth initiatives in contributing positively and effectively to Qatari society.
Participation Requirements
Participation is open to individuals or teams with initiatives and community contributions with ethical impact, particularly in Qatar.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Applicants (individuals or teams) must be Qatari citizens or residents of Qatar.
- Applicants must upload their ID at registration and fill in all required information.
- Applicants (individuals or teams) must not have previously won any Akhlaquna Initiative awards.
- Submissions must be made through the official website.
- The initiative or contribution must have been ongoing for at least one year and still be active.
- Only one submission per applicant is allowed.
- The initiative owner or team leader must record a 2-minute video briefly explaining the initiative.
Evaluation Criteria (Qatar)
- Submit a detailed profile of the initiative, including its objectives, founding purpose, and target group.
- The initiative must show clear achievements, documented evidence, and wide societal impact.
- If the submission is from an individual, they must prove the initiative is solely their effort.
- If the submission is from a team, they must identify the team leader and define each member’s role.
- If the winner is a team, the team leader or representative will receive the award.
- The initiative or contribution must not aim for profit.
- The initiative must directly promote Prophetic ethics.
- Individual contributions must aim to create impact within Qatar.
- The initiative must demonstrate sustainability and continuity.
- The idea must be creative and presented in an innovative manner.
- The impact of the initiative must be supported by evidence and data showing the number of beneficiaries and activities.
Registration Guidelines
- Adhere to the submission deadline.
- Visit the official website and go to the AL-SHABAB contribution category page.
- Ensure that the ID (individual or team) is uploaded.
- Enter the official data by completing the form accurately.
- Attach supporting evidence, activities, and images in PDF format.
General Rules
- The Akhlaquna Initiative is under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development.
- No institution or organization is allowed to use the initiative’s logo or media materials for personal purposes without prior permission.
- All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges with experience in evaluating initiatives.
- Participants must adhere to the submission deadlines, submit all required information, and maintain integrity in their submissions.
- The Akhlaquna Initiative has the right to use images and videos of all winners for promotional purposes.
- Any submission that does not meet the terms and criteria will be excluded.
- Winners will be officially announced during a special ceremony called 'Akhlaquna Day'.
